Gardening Gnomes from Made By Marney

Gardening is such a popular pastime. I am almost as passionate about gardening as I am for paper piecing.

My sweet customer Trish, requested some gardening gnomes.

Trish particularly wanted a girl gnome with braids.

This gnome helps me water the flowers.

I designed this vest for a sewing competition. Kind of quirky and whimsical! Next I am using the garden gnomes on some pillows for a gift.

Easter Gnome from Quilt Doodle Doodles...

Easter weekend is just around the corner. March has just flown by. It's hard to believe that a year ago we went into Covid lockdown and hubby started working from home. We have developed a nice work routine over the last year. I lost my office to hubby but I have enjoyed working from the kitchen table and watching the birds and walkers as they go by. I have also enjoyed having lunch with hubby everyday. He went into work yesterday and the house was too quite. So lockdown has been a blessing in disguise. Oh, enough of me ...

When I put away all of the Christmas decorations this year, I decided to leave my gnomes out to decorate the house for the rest of the winter. I love gnomes and actually leave a couple up all year round. Gnomes remind me of my dad, he had a set of gnomes that stood in the front of the family home for years. Dad was also 100% Norwegian.
